Renewal & Reinvention – LGWSD 75th anniversary exhibition – 11th to 22nd November 2025
The exhibition celebrates 75 years of the London Guild of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers, founded in 1950. It will showcase contemporary hand weaving, natural and synthetic dyeing, tapestry weaving and hand spinning, by members of Guild. It will be forward looking, consisting of recent works that demonstrate the contemporary value of heritage. textile skills. The textile works will display innovative approaches to traditional techniques and address contemporary concerns, for example, climate change, sustainability, and the handmade.
